Charges and Tax

All food and beverage prices, excluding alcoholic beverage sales (wine, beer, and spirits) are subject to 9.25% State Sales Tax.

Guarantee

For all catered functions, final attendance figures and menu item(s) selection must be provided no later than three (3) days in advance (prior to the function scheduled day). This figure will be considered a guarantee and not subject to reduction.

Payment: Credit / Deposit

Definite confirmation of our function requires a 30% deposit based on the estimated expenditures in order to hold space and purchase of supplies for your function. The entire contract price must be paid at least one (1) week before, or on the day of the function.

If you cancel this agreement 30 days or more prior to schooled date of your function, you will be entitled to receive a full refund of your deposit. In the event your cancellation is less than two (2) weeks, all deposits will be retained by Kazu Restaurant.


Renting Kazu by Day or Evening (in blocks of up to 4 hours)

There is a room charge of $1000.00 or $2500.00 in food and beverage sales (not to include tax or gratuity) for day events (before 4pm) There is a room charge of $500.00 or $1500.00 in food and beverage sales (not to include tax or gratuity) for evening events (after 5pm)

Any event occurring on a holiday or off day (Sunday) may be subject to an additional fee of 25%. Taxes and Gratuity: 9.25% State tax is charged to all food items. Liquor is pre-taxed. Gratuity for events is 20% of total sales (food and drink).
